Hello everyone, I’m Dave and I’m trying to raise funds to help my wife go through breast cancer. She is currently not able to work.
We are normally a two-income household, but since I am now the sole provider, bills are piling up, including medical expenses, which I can’t keep up with. A lot of normal bills are being put on the back burner so I can pay for tests, doctor visits, meds, and so on. Our insurance is on the verge of cancellation because I don’t make enough to keep everything going. Stressing on possible financial issues that there’s eviction, utilities, etc. about to happen. We are no slouches; we work hard and pay bills on time, but cancer has made it impossible to keep up. I.e., rent, food, gas, insurance, medication, copays, scans.
My wife (my life), married for 30 years, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, which is malignant with medium to high aggression, this past March 2025, in her 50s. We have exhausted 99% of financial support entities such as churches, Social Security disability, and more. I either “make too much” for help or help will take more than 6 months to be approved.
I am not a person that goes for handouts, but I’m in an emergency panic financially mode, and so here I am.
