Donate to Ease Chessie's Family's Burden

Hello everyone, my name is Kimberly Houseknecht, and my Aunt Chessie is extremely sick and in desperate need of everyone’s help. In July, Chessie went to the hospital because she thought she had a pulled muscle in her shoulder and a sinus infection. After testing and imaging, we were told that she has cancer. She has had 3 biopsies and multiple other tests like PET scan, CT scans, and MRI. Finally, we got a diagnosis of Metastatic Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She has a massive tumor on her right lung and multiple lesions on her brain. During the last 2 months, Chessie has decreased rapidly. Yesterday, we were told she has had 15 mini-strokes and 1 massive stroke, which has taken a toll on her body. She has been bleeding internally from her vessels bursting. They are not able to start treatments of radiation and Chemo until she is medically cleared to start. Everyone who knows Chessie knows she loves everyone and has always tried her best to be there for others. She is normally a go-getter and also full of energy and life. With her in the hospital for almost two months, it has been affecting her husband’s ability to be at work much. He has been trying to be there for his wife while juggling work when he can. They have two teenage children that he has to care for. They have school and sports events they were already committed to. It’s just way too much stress on their family at this time. Her husband is also a heart patient who hasn’t been in the best of health himself. If we can take a little stress off of them financially, it would be a huge blessing. I am humbly asking everyone to help by donating whatever God lays on your heart to donate. At this time, we are trusting God’s plan for Chessie. We believe God will heal Chessie.
