Donate to Ease Camille's Burden and Bring Hope

My name is Vickie and I am starting this fundraiser for a dear friend of mine. We have known each other for about 9 years. She is such an encourager and right now she needs the encouragement more than ever. Her name is Camille. She loves wildlife and rescues when she can, but that has been put on hold for some time now, although she has some canine companions that are rescues. She has been the sole caretaker of her husband Joe, who has dementia/Alzheimer's as well as very hard-to-control diabetes. And now she has her own health problems to contend with; she has a rare form of cancer and has been receiving treatments over the last 2 years. She has an adult son that lives with her and Joe, and he is a good help for Camille with the household, such as doing the laundry at a laundromat, running to get groceries, helping with the outside duties, as well as taking care of Joe when Camille has to go in for her chemotherapy. Therefore, he is unable to work outside the home. Camille is confined to their home most of the time other than going in for the chemo treatments, and they live on Social Security benefits, which do not cover all of their needs anymore. The medical bills are more than anyone would want to contend with, feeding 3 adults is difficult as well, and Joe needs constant supervision. A nursing home for Joe is out of their parameters due to the cost of one and Camille needing Joe to be near so she can attend to his needs. Camille is exhausted and needs some help. I am hoping this fundraiser will give some financial help and take some of the burden off Camille. Her plate has more on it than anyone should have to handle. I ask you to please consider donating what you can. Any amount would be greatly appreciated and bring some encouragement to Camille at this time. As funds are raised they will go to Camille, not me.
