This is not good news. There is no easy way to say this and there is no sense in sugar coating it. Brandon Lee has TERMINAL PANCREATIC CANCER. The doctors are saying best case scenario is 2-3 years with chemotherapy and radiation.

The truth of the matter is that he has been misdiagnosed for nearly 2 years and suffering all the while. He weighed 215lbs in October of 2024 and has since been reduced to 135lbs. He was first hospitalized in February 2024 with abdominal pains. Scans taken during that visit and later in June of 2025 revealed nothing. In the last four months his cancer went from undetected, to an inoperable mass in the head of the pancreas that is proximal to major blood vessels.

This is a very aggressive cancer, and he is already severely depleted. He is currently being treated by oncologists here in Savannah, in addition to the pancreatic cancer specialists at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Even with all of these experts in his corner, he is going to need a lot more than thoughts and prayers.

This man and his family desperately need your financial support. Brandon has two school-age children to consider. He has to maintain a home, provide for his kids, and do what he can to set them up for success once he is gone. That only scratches the surface and doesn’t even consider the trips from SAV to JAX and the gaps in medical coverage / personal costs that are not covered by insurance.

He has been unable to work for weeks now. He will start chemotherapy in early November which will further debilitate him. He is in excruciating pain and already heavily medicated. Despite his situation, all this man thinks about is returning to work so that he can “stand on business” for his family.

Brandon has spent the last 20 years working for the maritime shipping industry in various capacities. He started his career as a Terminal Supervisor for 6+ years with the Georgia Ports Authority in his hometown of Savannah, GA. He later transitioned to the role of Stevedore for 5+ years, having worked for both, Ports America/MTC and Ceres.

His career then led him to become a Port Captain with G2 Ocean for a few years where he would call on ports all along the eastern seaboard stretching from the State of Maryland to as far north as Maine, in addition to ports all along the Gulf Coast. Brandon eventually found his way back to his home port to manage work for Seaonus/Enstructure, while concurrently serving as a longshoreman and becoming part of the local ILA of Savannah.

Brandon’s varied union and non-union maritime experience speaks for itself. He has handled containers, roll-on / roll-off vessels, and break-bulk materials of all kinds. He has amassed a wealth of knowledge, skills, and abilities that are beyond reproach and has never wavered.

His work ethic has had a lasting and positive impact on his co-workers throughout the years. Those that know him can attest to his generosity, character, and loyalty to the people at the ILA of Savannah. There are few people in the Port of Savannah that Brandon has not helped or affected in a positive way. He is now in dire need of everyone’s help.

Brandon shouldn’t have to worry about working or finding a way to pay bills that he is already behind on. He needs to let his body rest and spend what precious time he has left with his loved ones. The monetary target goal and timeline here is arbitrary. If we surpass the target, we can reassess and do our best with continued support.
