My sweet big boy Boe underwent life-saving surgery to remove a bowel obstruction caused by swallowing a piece of Nylabone. It punctured his intestines, leading to 4ft needing to be removed during a colectomy. It’s been a long road of recovery. In all, he had to be transported between three different veterinarian practices. While I did my best to find him the best low-cost care, it still cost over $9000 for his care. To my surprise, veterinarian practices do not have payment plans, and payment is due before treatment. Thanks to some savings and many credit cards, I was able to make it work; however, now I’m under great financial strain and credit card payments haven’t started yet. I’m hoping with help and support I will be able to raise $2000 to make these impending payments manageable. My care credit card has been maxed out along with my PayPal credit card and substantial charges on a third credit card.
