I created this GoFundMe on behalf of all who know and love my cousin Betty Laducer and want to help. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, cousin, Auntie, niece, sister-in-law, and friend. If you know her, you love her. In the words of her cousin, Gary Thomas, "I'd bet my life that Betty Lou has either helped you or someone you love multiple times in her life." She was recently diagnosed with Aggressive B-Cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma - Stage 4. Her medical team is optimistic, and she began her chemotherapy last week in Bismarck, ND. During the next several months, she will be receiving treatment in Bismarck, which is a few hours from her home in Belcourt, ND.

If you know Betty Lou, you also know that her father, Clifford Keplin, recently passed away from Parkinson's disease and Betty Lou was one of his caretakers. She may not have enough sick days to cover the time she will miss from work both from her treatment and from caring for her father. In addition, she will need family to travel with her to Bismarck during the treatments and they will also need to miss work. Every dollar of this fundraiser will help go toward travel expenses and missed income in order to continue to pay their bills.

She is truly one-of-a-kind, and words can't express how much joy and love she spreads. We all love her so much and want to lighten her and her family's load as much as we can, especially during this time of year.
