I’m outside my comfort zone with all of this, but here we go anyway.

We’re in need of help. Please keep us in your thoughts & prayers, but also… if anyone has the ability to help support us financially, it’s looking like that time has come.

On August 25th at my 20 week anatomy scan & ultrasound, the doctor had some concerns. These fears were confirmed & heightened the following Monday at the perinatal specialist.

Baby Tucker’s lethal prognosis is devastating. We don’t know exactly how the next few weeks are going to play out, but we will likely not be able to work or even be in town. We have exhausted our options in NWA.

We are packing a bag & not exactly sure what to expect in the long run. We’ve been made aware of some expenses that are to come, & it is daunting. Our work has offered to do some fundraising events, & since folks have wanted to contribute, I figured this was the best way to go about it.

I appreciate everyone who has already offered to help… Thank you for encouraging me to set this up & for loving us.

Never would I have thought 2025’s chapter would have more twists & turns than ever before.

9/30/25 Update:

Yesterday was confirmation that Tucker won’t survive. The lack of amniotic fluid (oligohydramnios) around him proves that he isn’t processing anything. Probable obstruction in his urethra (LUTO) has caused his kidneys to die (bilateral polycystic kidneys) and has resulted in his lungs not developing (pulmonary hypoplasia). His abdomen is measuring weeks ahead because it’s retaining fluid which is causing him to get squished too - his head is showing signs of deformity… it’s just an awful situation. He will not live outside the womb.

There’s no more they can do for me in Arkansas and nothing for him pre or post birth. Additionally there could be complications during the next trimester, especially with my placenta previa and possible preeclampsia.

University of AR Medical Science contacted other hospitals on my behalf. The best and most reasonable timeframe is looking like the University of IL Hospital and Health Sciences.

Brendon and I will be traveling to Illinois Thursday. Surgery is scheduled for Saturday.
