I’ve been the guardian and payee for Larry for over 20 years.

Larry has lived in the same assisted living facility for 19 years.

He’s a gentle giant — the kind of person who spent his life taking care of his mother and sister.

He lost his sister last year, and his mom ten years ago.

I’m all he has now.

This past year, a new company bought the facility.

They’re saying that for the last 19 years he was charged incorrectly —

and now they say he owes $5,223.

After paying room and board, Larry has $75 a month.

There is no way he can pay this.

Every month I receive another letter asking for payment.

I haven’t told Larry — because he’s terrified he could lose his home.
