On June 12th, my best friend Angel who is only 31 years old, received the heartbreaking news that she has colon cancer. As most of you know, Angel is an amazing, extremely hardworking single mom to two little beautiful girls. It is a curve ball no one expected which has completely turned her world upside down.

On July 8th, Angel had a sigmoid colectomy. She has a long road ahead of her and she is facing months of chemotherapy, tests and future scans.

Despite her bravery and resilience, the financial burden of medical bills, lost income and every day expenses are quickly becoming overwhelming which is why I am starting this gofundme, to help alleviate some of the stress and to ensure she can focus on what matters most: her recovery and to be there for her girls.
