Hi everyone,

I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend, a loving mother who is going through one of the hardest moments any parent could face. Her newborn baby was recently admitted to the NICU at Riley Children’s Hospital, and will need to stay there for an unknown amount of time as doctors work tirelessly to stabilize and care for the baby.

As a mother, her heart is torn between two places—the NICU with her fragile newborn and home with her five other little boys who still need their mom every day. She is doing everything she can to stay strong, but this journey has brought emotional stress, sleepless nights, and heavy financial strain.

Because she is spending most of her time at the hospital, her ability to work and provide has been deeply affected. Between travel costs to and from Riley, food during long hospital stays, childcare for her other children, and everyday bills piling up, she is struggling to manage it all on her own.

She would never ask for help herself — but right now, she truly needs her village.
