Dylan is starting week #4 in the hospital, with a long road ahead of him. He has been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, GPA (Granulomatosis with Polyangitis) formerly known as Wegener’s Granulomatosis. He was initially on a ventilator 5 days after a lung hemorrhage with his ICU care team working through a battery of tests to ultimately diagnose him. He will receive his second infusion of Rituximab this week and will continue with that treatment every 6 months. The most recent complication with this attack on his vascular systems caused an abnormal heart rate. A combination of several medications are now working and we are hoping to resume therapy soon. Dylan and Britteny are going to need our continued prayers, support and any financial blessings in the coming months as Dylan will be unable to work for an unknown period of time. The disability process will be timely so please help if you can or please share!
Thank you!
