I am Julie, Dustin Osborne’s aunt. Dustin had a biking accident in August which resulted in a concussion and brain bleed. Initially, the imaging was negative, but Dustin was still feeling bad and returned for a follow-up in October. The MRI showed Dustin had a brain bleed and would need emergency surgery. Dustin was put on an emergency medical flight from Mammoth Lakes, CA to Reno, NV.

The surgeons were able to remove the coagulated blood and stop the bleeding. Dustin remained in ICU and CCU for several days. He has returned home to heal, and the doctors have given specific instructions to rest and not bend over, etc., for a specific amount of time. If anyone knows Dustin, he is likely wanting to get out and work.

Dustin’s had been working for the same company for 15 years. A new management company took over, and Dustin’s insurance changed, and the deductibles are very high.

Doctors don’t want Dustin working until he is medically cleared to do so, but that is putting added stress on healing.
