A member of our community is going through a tough and dangerous transition at this time, and needs our support. She is going through a divorce mediation process with an emotionally abusive husband and needs to make herself independent of him in all ways.

Most pressing are two things: 1) the need for a living space for 1-2 months for her and her children to be able to live in a safe, separate space during the mediation proceedings; 2) the need for a steady income--she would like to go into medical billing, but certification and training in this field is likely to cost a few thousand dollars.

Let's all join together to support our friend and children in making this safe, healthy new start and escaping the very difficult situation in which they have been living.
