In the previous years, we have competed in First Lego League. Our team has competed at the international level at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute representing the SoCal region, and won the ‘Engineering Excellence’ award competing against 115 teams from 18 countries. In addition, we have won the ‘Best Robot Design’ and ‘Best Innovation Project’ awards for the SoCal region and championship awards at varying levels of the competition.

We have moved on to the next level of the competition: First Tech Challenge. This level is extremely complex, challenging, and, of course, costly. We estimate that we will spend thousands of dollars buying parts, entering competitions, and traveling to different events during the competition.

Our goal is to go to Worlds Championship proudly representing California.
