We love Donna Shubrook’s compassion, humor, and friendship. She’s always willing to lend her nursing expertise, patiently teach a game, and share laughter or tears. She gives us total acceptance and understanding. Now we have the opportunity to give to her. She has bravely gone through spinal surgery and cancer treatment but recently spent 3 weeks in the hospital after she was found unconscious. Treated for pneumonia, dehydration, beginning kidney failure, and C-diff, she has bounced back and is at home with caregivers.
