Dina Sanchez is fearless, spirited, and full of heart. She’s the kind of person who shows up when you need her most — whether it’s with a hot meal, a prayer, or simply her presence. As a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother to four beautiful girls, Dina has always gone above and beyond to care for others. Her boldness, kindness, and unwavering strength have left a lasting impact on everyone who knows her.

Over the past two weeks, Dina began experiencing painful, unexplained symptoms. After countless appointments and uncertainty, she was officially diagnosed with Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) — a rare and life-threatening reaction to medication or infection that causes the skin and mucous membranes to blister and peel. She is at the ICU burn unit at LA General Medical Center/USC receiving critical care as she fights through this devastating condition.

Even while in pain, Dina kept going — showing up for work, staying positive, and believing wholeheartedly that God would carry her through.
