Hello, my name is Diane. I appreciate you taking the time to hear my story! I am scheduled on 9/30/25 to have a mastoidectomy of my left ear. Without the surgery, I run the risk of developing meningitis. This is a life-threatening condition. I recently found out the surgeon and the hospital are not in-network under my insurance. I do not have the out-of-pocket cost I have to pay upfront to both the hospital and surgeon. I will also be out of work for 2 to 3 weeks with no available time off pay. Part of the funds donated will go to the surgery and also to help with bills for the month of October.
