Devin’s Brain Cancer Battle
Donation protected
My name is Kayla, and I’m the mother of a beautiful, brave little boy named Devin. He’s just two years old, full of light, love, and so much life ahead of him—but right now, he’s in the fight of his life. Devin has been diagnosed with a high-grade glioma, an aggressive and devastating brain tumor that has completely infiltrated the entire right side of his brain. It is inoperable, and his doctors have given him a very poor prognosis. No words can describe the pain of hearing that about your child.
Since his diagnosis, Devin has started weekly chemotherapy in hopes of slowing down the growth of the tumor. Every treatment brings its own set of challenges, but Devin continues to fight with unimaginable strength for someone so small. He is my entire world, and I’m doing everything I possibly can to keep him here, to give him the care, comfort, and chance he deserves.
Because of the complexity of his condition, we were forced to move over six hours away from our home and everything familiar—including our family and support system—to Dallas, the only place with the specialists capable of providing the care Devin needs. As a single mother, I had no choice but to stop working in order to care for him 24/7. It’s just our little family now, in a new city, navigating endless hospital visits, medical bills, and a terrifying unknown future.
We are in desperate need of help. Your donation, no matter the size, can make an incredible difference. It helps cover the overwhelming medical expenses, transportation to and from the hospital, rent, food, and the basic necessities that allow us to focus on what matters most—Devin’s life. It also gives us the ability to explore further treatment options and clinical trials that may give him more time, and possibly, a miracle.
Most of all, your support reminds us that we are not alone in this fight. Every prayer, every share, every dollar brings hope into our darkest days. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with us. Please help us give Devin the chance to grow up, to laugh and play, to feel the sunshine, and to keep sharing his beautiful spirit with the world.
