My mom was diagnosed in early September 2024 with stage four ovarian cancer. Her husband, Tron, has been by her side since they received this news. He is currently on FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) and hasn't been at work or received a paycheck since they received the diagnosis.

We are starting this GoFundMe page and asking for your help with my mom’s medical bills.

While they’ve always saved as part of their financial strategy, they have now drained their savings account. In the short term, medical bills will arrive in their mailbox. I know times are tough for everybody right now, but any amount you could give at this time would help… and know that it is greatly appreciated.

A little background.

As of Oct 16th to present Mom has completed 2 (of 6) rounds of chemo with blood work after each one. Initially, she did well the first couple of days but was ultimately unable to control her pain level and was rushed to the hospital via ambulance.

Apparently, the pain was caused by her tumor pressing against the small intestines and causing a partial bowel obstruction. This required an NG tube (Nasogastric Tube) to be inserted to relieve pressure in her stomach and bowels.

Because the tube was incorrectly inserted, it meant the pain continued and caused Mom to have another NG tube inserted (a painful process) once she was in her hospital room.

Once the tube was inserted correctly, the process allowed for removal of the bile that was causing her so much pain.

She is still not out of the woods, but we are hopeful that with good medical care and with God’s blessing she will be back to her old self.
