A Gift of Sound: Help Me Finish My Album After Graduation

Hello friends, family, and kind supporters,

My name is Demetrius Perminter, and I’m proud to share that I recently graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a 3.98 GPA. This moment means the world to me. After years of dedication, learning, and personal growth, I want to celebrate this milestone with something deeply meaningful — completing my first music album.

Music has always been a part of who I am. It's how I express what words can't say. Throughout my studies, I’ve been quietly writing and producing songs, using what limited tools I have. Now that I’ve graduated, I’m ready to bring those songs to life in a real way.

As a gift to myself for finishing my degree, I’m hoping to raise funds to cover a few essential recording expenses that are currently out of reach. I now live in South America, and while I work through a tutoring platform, the income is modest and doesn’t stretch far beyond daily needs.

I’m raising funds to purchase :

A Rode NT1 5th Generation microphone for professional vocal quality

Acoustic treatment (sound panels, mic isolation shield) to control recording noise

A digital audio interface for clean, reliable sound input

Mixing plugins and mastering tools (software licenses for EQ, compression, reverb, etc.)

And to help with distribution and mastering costs once the tracks are finished

These tools are foundational for any serious independent artist, and they’ll allow me to create music that sounds the way it was meant to be heard.
