My name is Deirdre. A few short months ago, I worked two jobs that I loved! Ran around with my hair on fire all the time. Then I started having issues with my back and sciatica. It gradually became worse, and I found out through a spinal X-ray that I have two vertebrae, L4 and L5, that rub against each other. Then the pain moved to my right leg. My leg is so weak I have to pick it up to put it on the bed, couch, or wherever. My leg buckles all the time, which caused me to fall. After my fall, I now use a cane. I feel like I turned 90 years old overnight. I had an MRI done to find out everything that is going on. The MRI showed nerve damage and mild disc damage, but it also showed something I never expected, a mass on my left kidney. I now have a second MRI scheduled for a renal interpretation. The doctor's note read it didn't look like a cyst, but a renal cell carcinoma, and another MRI is needed. God forbid carcinoma means cancer. I have not been able to work since mid-December 2024. I don't know when I will be able to go back to work. I don't know what the upcoming MRI will show. The monthly bills are piling up, and I'm not making any money not working. My husband is retired and will be going back to work, but he still can't cover all our bills. We have eliminated all we can. I would appreciate any help that can be given. I don't like asking for money, but it's getting scary on my end. Thank y'all so much for anything and everything you can do. God bless.
