We're reaching out to our chosen and extended family and friends for help as we grieve the loss of our beloved Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and friend, Deacon Robert Roseberry Sr., who passed into Glory last week after an extended illness. Bob was a kind, giving soul who spent most of his free time in service to his church, his community, and his family, specifically bringing comfort, prayer and his signature humor and charm to those in need. This was especially true following the devastating loss of his beloved wife and spiritual partner Barbara in 2008.
Deacon Roseberry's passing has finally brought him peace after a long battle with cancer, but it also left behind some unexpected financial burdens that his family was not really prepared for, so we've created this campaign to help raise funds to relieve some of the pressure off of the family during this difficult time.
All donations will go directly towards covering final expenses that are not covered by the small insurance policy that remained in force at the time of the Deacon's passing, including funeral and burial expenses. Any additional funds raised will go directly to the family to help them with travel expenses to attend the service in person, and anything remaining will be divided amongst his three children, Deborah, Robert Jr., and Craig.
Your generosity goes a long way during tough times like this, and we appreciate ANY contribution, no matter how small (or large) - it's at times like these that we know we can rely on our circle of incredible friends and chosen family to come through as we always try to do under similar circumstances. Your love, prayers and contributions are appreciated.
