Hey there! I'm Lisa, a friend of Dawn's. I'm here to try to help Dawn get that kidney transplant she so desperately needs! Dawn needs OUR help. And you KNOW she doesn't want to ask, but she has. Dawn has had a few setbacks in the past few weeks and they have added up to some devastating news. Long story short, Dawn needs a new heart valve before she can go onto the transplant list. To have a new heart valve, she must first get cleared for dental, so that nothing comes in and "poisons" her new valve or kidney.

Here's where we come in. Dawn has lost half of her Social Security recently because she is a stubborn, hardworking, independent woman. Kudos to her, but... she is going to need some big help. We NEED to help raise some money so that she feels comfortable going to a dentist, knowing there is going to be some work that needs to be done. Then, bills... when she has her heart valve replaced, she will need help with bills until she can work. This is long-winded, I am sorry, but I am passionate we can help her. She is stressing about this and that doesn't help either.

So, no dentist means no heart valve, which means no kidney, which ALL boils down to how long will she be able to keep on dialysis. Dialysis is extremely hard on your body. Look it up!
