Donate to Dawn Peterson's life-saving kidney transplant fund

My mother, Dawn Peterson, is in urgent need of a kidney transplant. She is currently on dialysis, driving over an hour each way 3 times a week due to the closing of our local dialysis treatment center. She has been waiting for her spot on the transplant list for almost 5 years with the understanding that her medical insurance would cover the cost in full. Unfortunately, she was just informed that is not the case.

After a long wait, she is finally approved to be on the list and could be getting a call for her transplant very soon after. But before she can be added to the transplant list, she has to have $6,000 saved and ready in order to proceed with the transplant.

My mom has spent her life not only caring for me, my brother and our family, but also working as a caregiver up until very recently. She is an amazing, loving, compassionate and hard-working woman who has always put others first. My mom has never been one to ask for help when she is struggling and won't even ask for help now.
