David went home today!! Now the hard work of recovery starts. Thank God he is doing so well. We’re a little concerned as David has a blood clot in his leg. Doctors sent him home with a bunch of medications, including blood thinners. Folks, these meds are not cheap! Please continue to pray, share this fundraiser, and donate towards David’s recovery. As we said before, he will not be able to work for 3 MONTHS. Bills do not stop coming just because we’re not working.

***Update 9/25***

David is one week out from open heart surgery and thank God, doing well! He is resting pretty good, and up walking some. He has moved from ICU to a more normal room on the cardiac floor. No mention if being released as yet. He still has a long road to recovery.

Thanks to everyone who has donated so fat! Let’s keep it going. As we all know, the bills don’t stop just because we get sick. Lindsee is working each day that she can and staying at home with Grey at night. It’s hard for her leaving David in the hospital alone. As many of you know, our David has been in the hospital for over a week now. What started out as a nosebleed turned into a severe heart blockage that required open-heart surgery. While David has gotten through this major surgery and is doing pretty good in recovery, he is not going to be able to work for at least 3 months. As the main breadwinner for their family, this is definitely going to cause a tremendous hardship for David and Lindsee. We all know rent and other monthly expenses do not stop when we incur such tragedies as this. And while David does have health insurance, I cannot even fathom the hospital and doctor bills that will be coming in.

As family, we will help as we can. But I am calling on everyone to join together to help out this young family. Please donate as you can.
