Donate to Dave's Long Road to Recovery

Hello everyone,

I am Cody Byers. My Mom and I are currently asking for help due to Dave's trip to the ICU. This has been a wild rollercoaster of emotions, as Dave initially went into the ER due to fracturing his spine after he fell down. However, there were many more things wrong than just a bad backache. He has been in the ICU since 10/23/2024. (At the time of writing it is 11/2/2024) There has been a tremendous toll on all of us mentally and emotionally due to much things have changed. As time progresses there has been a looming issue that has been in the back of our mind, the bill. As I'm sure many of you are aware medical expenses can be insanely expensive. On top of that after all of the time here, when he gets better he will need months of rehabilitation. We have yet to see any bills, but we can only imagine what they will be. There are also the factors that my Mom will be out of work for awhile to help support and help Dave on his long road to recovery. It is also to help due to the fact that as much as Dave won't like it, he will be out of work for awhile as well, which provides a financial burden as well. If you are able to donate anything we would greatly appreciate it. I do not think we will be providing many updates on the GoFundMe platform, but we do try to put out at least daily updates here, CaringBridge. I will try to put a quick update here at least weekly, but for the most current please look at the CaringBridge.
