Fighting for My Life: Help Dave Beat Cancer

Hi, my name is Dave, and I'm 58 years young. I love working hard, spending time with family and friends, and dreaming of fishing trips. But a year ago, my life changed when I received devastating news: I have Stage 4 colorectal cancer that has metastasized to my liver.

Doctors initially gave me six months to a year to live. Since then, I've been undergoing rigorous chemotherapy treatments every other Wednesday. Despite the challenges, I'm determined to fight. I even continue to walk five miles on the beach whenever I can, which helps both my body and mind—and my doctors agree it's beneficial.

After a year on disability, my benefits have ended. As a construction worker, it's impossible for me to work while undergoing chemotherapy and managing a chemo port. This leaves me with no source of income at a time when I need it most.
