Hello…I am Zachary, brother to Danny and put this together on his behalf. I never thought I’d find myself here asking for this type of help for him.

On Friday night, he was out riding with a great friend, just enjoying a peaceful ride on LaGrange heading north. As they enjoyed their ride a truck appeared, flashing its brights six times before turning directly into their lane. Danny says he remembers every second of what happened next—how they both reacted to avoid a head-on collision.

As Danny avoided everything he hit the gravel, and his bike came out from under him. In the crash, he broke both of his legs.

He will be confined to a bed for at least the next six weeks with little movement. He won’t be able to put any weight on his right leg for a minimum of 12 weeks. It’s going to be a long road to recovery.

Right now, we don’t know exactly how much any of this will cost. The insurance coverage he is waiting on hasn’t started yet, which means everything will be out of pocket until it does. We are doing our best to prepare for the medical bills, rehabilitation expenses, and living costs that are coming in the weeks ahead.
