My name is Jennifer Gonzalez and my husband Daniel of 18 years has been in 2 different hospitals in the past 2 months. (The 1st one he was at in uvalde for 4 days totalling up to $22,000). He has now been in ICU at St. Luke's Baptist in San Antonio over a week. He is struggling with fluid retention, fluid in lungs, low oxygen, fever, and pulmonary infection. He’s currently on a ventilator relying on oxygen to breathe, and watching him fight for his life has been one of the hardest things our family has ever faced. The emotional toll has been heavy along with the upcoming medical expenses (ICU costs, treatments, and ongoing care.)
