Daniel Ayala-a beloved son, father, grandfather, friend and colleague-is facing one of life's toughest battles. On Sunday, October 26th, Daniel was hospitalized. Unfortunately this marks the beginning of his medical journey fighting cancer, again. Daniel is currently in the hospital with hopes to return home soon.

Daniel has been battling health issues ever since his original cancer diagnosis some seven plus years ago, with his last surgery in 2022.

As Daniel focuses on healing and recovery, he will need Continued Care and support. The road ahead may be long, and the financial strain for medical expenses, time away from work, and ongoing treatments continues to grow.

Daniel has worked for the Palos Verdes Unified School District since 2001. He currently holds the role of the Kids Corner supervisor at Soleado elementary. We are sharing his story in hopes that the RPV community, the Soleado community of colleagues, his friends and of course his family can contribute in any way, big or small.
