A dear friend of our community, Dana Parton, (Barricade Band) was in a devastating fire lastnight leaving him with nothing but the clothes on his back. He suffers from burns to his face and hands and smoke inhalation. With limited resources, he is now facing the task of rebuilding his life. Prior to this tragedy Dana lived in Willoughby where many in Oceanview enjoyed the annual Tiki Party. A few months ago Dana's landlord passed, and the family gave Dana 30 days to move out. Within a week of the notice, Dana was laid off from his job as an Auto Cad Technician. He continued to entertain all of us with his love for music, while trying to find new employment and housing.
