I am writing this medicated and in pain, from a hospital bed.

Monday August 31 was an ambulance ride to the hospital with lower tummy pain. I was disregarded with no imaging and told to come back if it gets worse or doesn’t get better.

Wednesday September 2 at 8pm I decided to go back to the ED and a (different) doctor recommended a CT scan. They were looking for a kidney stone but found an inflamed appendix.

Hooked me up to antibiotics, was told I should see the surgeon the next morning, and I spent the night in the hospital.

5pm Thursday the next day, I was finally seen by the surgeon. Prior to that at 4:45pm I spiked a fever and became tachycardic.

Surprise, my appendix burst. The surgeon was adamant it was one of the worst ruptured appendixes he’s ever seen and it was even gangrenous. It took them longer to wash me out than it did to remove the infected organ.

I am reaching out to my faithful followers for a little bit of help to get me through this tough time. I will not be able to work for at least three weeks (or more.)

I don’t expect anyone to donate, but I would be so grateful as most of you know I’ve been doing this to get myself out of my businesses debt. This is a huge setback because I cannot work either job at all.
