Miss Daisy Needs Your Help!
Daisy is a 4-year old Golden Retriever who earned her Therapy Dog Certification through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs in 2022. Daisy and her handler, Mrs. Mesdjian have been serving the area in which she works through weekly visits, in which students are able to pet and sit with Daisy, as she has provided a calming presence for the past three years. Many students have come to love Daisy and look forward to spending time with her.
Unexpectedly, at the end of January, Daisy suffered a mishap in the Center when she consumed a hard-plastic mouth guard that caused stomach and intestinal damage. Daisy underwent emergency surgery in which a part of her intestines was removed and reattached to her stomach. Daisy is gradually recovering from her surgery and is unable to return to her daily visits with students at their schools for the time being.
This surgery and care for Daisy costs over $15,000. Teachers do a lot for students and bear the cost at times. Mrs. Mesdjian has to cover all the cost of this emergency personally. Please help Daisy. Show some love the same way Miss Daisy has shown the kids love in the suburban area by donating to help her recover. Your donations are very much appreciated. Every Dollar is a Dollar of Puppy Love.
