Please donate and share Cynthia Fugman's go fund me. Cynthia Fugman is seeking funds to cover a few months rent at a place she can recuperate from her injures and funds toward a vehicle.

Cynthia was hiking to hitch to work early Saturday morning 4/5/25 with wind blowing and snow swirling. She stubbed her left foot on a rock and would have been able to catch herself, but for the fact that she stubbed her foot on a second rock....stub_stub. She landed on her right side and broke the ball of her right humerus (4 fractures) and her right hip with the neck of the femur being compressed into the ball of the femur. She had surgery that day on the hip. Three long pins were inserted into the bone to stabilize it. Both injuries are non weight bearing.

Cynthia was in Holy Cross Hospital for 4 days and transfered to the rehab center at Taos Healthcare. Since both shoulder and hip are non weight bearing, she will be there for a total of 6-8 weeks.

Cynthia will need a wheelchair friendly place to rent. She had been living 6 miles down a dirt road in a very rustic home. She had been hitch hiking for months, as her vehicle a 2013 Subaru Outback has blown head gaskets. She needs funds to get a good running vehicle.

Cynthia is hoping to raise $15,000 to cover rent, vehicle, and medical expenses.
