Our Mason has a very rare genetic condition called Mucolipidosis type 2. He was diagnosed at 3 months old and has faced many obstacles in his 3 years of life. This condition is unfortunately terminal and there is currently no cure. The Cure Mucolipidosis team has been working very hard to develop a gene therapy for Mason and all other children who are affected by this condition. They are making great progress and are so close to moving to clinical trials which is HUGE for all of our families! They have a goal of $192,000 to make this possible.
