Hi. I'm Crystal Foley! I just turned 40 in June and man, did life have one of the biggest challenges yet for myself and my family. You see, a few years back, I was hurt at work (working with special needs adults). Since then, I had this very aggressive nagging at my back. It wasn't until 2024 when a doctor decided to just trust it was something more than "muscle pain." I had my first MRI results, and they looked concerning. So I did some research, and someone said a microdiscectomy would help resolve this issue. After fighting and fighting, a doctor finally took a chance and did the surgery. Boy, what a waterfall of events that has been! (Dangit TLC, you got it right again). The last thing I remember was leaving my first surgery and going home feeling great. For like 3 days. Then pain just ripped me apart. I am literally still putting pieces of this entire series of severely unfortunate events back together.

I offer you my story in hopes to raise money so my husband and I don't lose our means to survival in life. My 2 jobs were both independent contractor work with special needs children and adults. I loved my job, and it never seemed like "a job." I was teaching the world of Autism the possibilities of being everything and more. Please, anything helps, matters, etc. While I still work on getting out of the hospital and out of a rehabilitation center, my husband's income alone won't allow us to survive!
