Thank you for taking the time to read this! My name is Zoe and in August of this year I was diagnosed with idiopathic subglottic stenosis. This is a chronic condition where my trachea, right under my voice box, was slowly building up scar tissue and closing up, to the point where it was getting to be impossible to breathe. After three years of mis diagnosis, three back to back ER visits, an ambulance ride, emergency surgery and an overnight stay at the hospital, I was finally diagnosed and had my airway open again.
It's been absolutely life changing and I'm so thankful that I finally got seen by the right people, but since this all happened suddenly I had no time to set aside funds or plan for anything. My insurance covered most of my treatment, but at the end of the day I'm still left with a little under $6k of medical bills and copays.
I know right now is a terrible time for everyone but if you have $5 to spare, please consider sending it my way to help me cover this. It would be greatly appreciated!
