My 4-year-old pit mix baby, Gaspar, had his first seizure on August 8th of this year, which required an emergency vet visit costing $1,700. He had another seizure this Friday, August 12th, and now needs follow-up care, including medication, bringing the total to about $2,200.

Gaspar isn’t just my pet, he’s my registered emotional support animal. Living with anxiety and PTSD is hard, but he’s been trained to help, stop and prevent my panic attacks. He truly makes a difference in me and my family’s life because he fills each day with love.

I adopted Gaspar from a rescue organization in Arkansas in 2021. He’s incredibly smart, well-trained (he even plays dead !), and brings so much love and joy to everyone who meets him. ❤️He’s the best cuddler and has a special way of making everyone feel comforted and happy.
