Our friend and wonderful colleague Jen Quintana's sweet dog needed emergency surgery this week in order to save her life. Jen's truest love and her baby Claire suddenly collapsed on Monday night and had to be rushed to the ER. Claire was very lucky and loved to come through the surgery and make it home. Jen was left with the huge decision and burden to take on the cost of this surgery to save her family. At $8,000, this is a major burden to Jen and her income as an educator.

Claire is a people-loving, spirited, adventurous golden lab. She is a fighter and has been a remarkable friend and companion for Jen.
