Hello! For those of you who have been following on my personal social media, you know all about how I’m part of the TNR program (trap & release) and how in our first set of trapping, we found a 6 month old kitten who we have nicknamed BB (bathroom baby) since she’s quarantined to our guest bathroom, who had a broken and de-gloved tail. We paid $300 out of pocket for the amputation of BB’s tail and agreed to watch over her over the next week while she healed before being released back to her colony. Unfortunately, she had a complication and needed an emergency surgery due to an infection at the stitches. The entire cost came out to $440 dollars…. Definitely has put us into a stressful situation. We might have to follow up with a vet but we will gladly pay that expense if we can just cover her ER vet visit. Any amount of donation helps to even reduce what we’ve paid for her procedures! Each donation is just to pay off the expenses. We appreciate any and all help! :)

update! She was diagnosed with an abscess at her tail bone. BB will now be our guest for 2 weeks while she takes very strong antibiotics to fight this infection!
