At my 20 week ultrasound they found some abnormalities in Cora’s brain. I continued to have some abnormal ultrasounds. When Cora was born at 38 weeks 2 days she came out from my C-section not breathing and we were told she had fused fingers and toes. They ambulances her 1.5 hours away to the children’s hospital. She has a g tube and is in CPAP for breathing trouble. Between 5-6 months she will have surgery on her skull and at a year she will get her hands and feet operated on. Her genetic results came back with her having Apert syndrome. We have been traveling back and forth for over a month and she won’t be home for a few months at least. We also have a 5 year old at home also that we are juggling both kids from 1.5 hours apart. We are now looking at surgery to get a trach placed on 5/12
