We are close friends of Alex Del Toro, and we’re reaching out on his behalf with a sincere request for support.

As some of you may know, Alex lost both of his legs below the knee a few years ago. Despite the immense challenges he’s faced, Alex has remained incredibly optimistic, upbeat, resilient and hopeful. Recently, he received some wonderful news—an agency has generously offered to donate his prosthetic limbs. This is a huge step forward in his journey toward mobility and independence.

However, there’s still one final hurdle: the protective sleeves that are essential for his prosthetics are custom-made and not covered by the donation. These sleeves are critical for comfort, protection, and long-term use, and they come at a cost of $4,000.

We’re asking for your help to get Alex across the finish line. Any amount you can contribute—large or small—will make a meaningful difference and bring him closer to walking again.
