I really don’t like asking for help, but when it comes to my son, it’s worth a try. I will put my pride to the side and admit that I need help!
Most of you don’t know this, but my son had surgery at 2 weeks old to correct his foot. He was born with a club foot and has worn braces on his feet 23 hours a day since then. He’s two now!
The thing is, those little boots are highly expensive, and we have been okay because his dad has insurance, but it only covers so much. Now that he’s getting bigger, he needs an orthotics custom shoe, and boy, is that one little boot expensive. Insurance is only able to cover $600, and we have to pay $1,900 for the boot to get made to finish the correction process for his foot.
I’m not working at the moment, and living in a one-income home has made it difficult for us to be able to get this for my son right now. I know everyone has had or is having their own financial struggles, and I apologize for this, but thank you in advance.
