Many of you know my grandson Cole Chance. Cole has had early onset ulcerative colitis since 2019. All treatments failed. In 2021 my daughter Erin & Johnny made the difficult decision to have his colon removed to save his life after numerous hospitalizations. Cole has had a stoma since then. This year Cole has been having a difficult time. He was hospitalized with the flu & adnoid virus. Shortly after he had strep throat. He never completely got better. He was then hospitalized with Nora Virus with kidney injury. Friday he was rushed to the hospital with extreme pain. He ended up having emergency surgery to remove 6 inches of dead intestines & redo his stoma. Lass then 48 hours later he was rushed back to emergency surgery because his intestines twisted & his stoma stopped working. Currently he is being treated at Scottish Rite.

Erin has missed weeks of work. Her job has been extremely supportive. She is missing 3 weeks so far without pay. Cole has missed therapies that are instrumental for his autism. To keep him in the much needed therapies they have to pay for missed appointments. Cole also will need additional medical supplies as he recovers.

Please think about donating to help Erin & Johnny absorb the costs. The money will help with therapy costs, his psychiatrist cost, out of pocket hospital costs and building bridges. Any money would also go to Cole’s therapy for all the trauma he has endured at such a young age.

My daughter hates that she needs help. Any assistance would greatly alleviate a lot of stress so Erin can focus on Cole’s healing.
