My name is Tiffany Sullivan and I have started this fundraiser to help one of my son's football coaches after having heart surgery.

Let's start with how we know him: Coach Timmy. 38 years old, went in for a stent replacement and it turned into the worst possible scenario. He tried to tough it out, but it turned out to be mini heart attacks. He ended up needing a bypass. He works full-time as a heavy equipment operator but spends a significant amount of time as a volunteer coach for kids' football. Insurance helps but can't touch what he needs to come up with for his medical bills as well as living expenses since he does not have enough PTO to cover the whole time he will be out of work since taking a position with a different company.

We've been approached by kids with the idea of a GoFundMe to help their mentor. Not sure how many people know this, but it's hard to get fifteen 12-year-olds to listen, learn, and respect you, much less come up with a plan of action to get their coach back. While he may not have kids of his own, he treats every kid like the doting uncle, and the kids can't wait for him to be back.

Any and everything helps, and well wishes count just as much as donations. Let's be the good people who help these kids get back an important, well-respected figure in their lives without the worry that he can't afford to give his time because he's doing overtime and scrambling to get back where he rightfully was. We could all look to him as an example, and there's no price put on leadership, respect, and a good example of how to treat others.
