I’m writing to share a deeply personal story. Recently, my best friend Cloe was involved in a serious accident with a Leaf electric scooter. This resulted in a brain hemorrhage, three broken teeth, and multiple facial fractures including her nose and jaw.

Cloe is the kindest friend you could hope to meet. She drops everything to help people, is so charismatic and can make friends anywhere she goes. Cloe loves to cook and adores her rescue cat Keke very much. Cloe has so much love for her Pizza Luce work family. She spends her time working, going on fun adventures with friends and family, and being a pillar of support to loved ones and strangers alike through mental crisis'.

The road to recovery is long and daunting, involving surgery, dental work, and taking an unexpecting break from work. The financial burden of these expenses is overwhelming, and your support can make a tremendous difference.

By contributing, you’re helping cover essential medical expenses (Cloe is currently uninsured so all of these costs will be out of pocket) and providing much-needed emotional support. Cloe is actively trying to seek out grants and other forms of financial relief. Being out of work for an extended period of time is causing a lot of anxiety, when she needs to just worry about healing. Every donation, big or small, is a step toward healing and a reminder that she's not alone.
