Clementine's Sudan Famine Relief Effort
Donation protected
Hello my name is Clementine Hackworth. I am ten and I go to Lincoln Elementary in St. Joseph Michigan.
I knew as soon as I heard about the children suffering from famine in Sudan that I needed to help. It could be a kid like me younger, older, and even toddlers, but all kids who can't help themselves who are starving to death and in pain every single day. Most Americans can help themselves if needed. The people of Sudan can't because they are not American, not wealthy, and do not have the right medicine or food to survive in these disasters. So please donate and help these kids live.
From Clementine's parents:
All donations will be sent to Proximity 2 Humanity, a registered 501(c)(3), directed to the Mutual Aid Sudan fund. The Mutual Aid Sudan Coalition supports local Sudanese organizations by providing direct funding. Funds reach the community in less than two weeks, and $0.95 of every $1.00 is transferred directly to local actors. You can read more about the Mutual Aid Sudan Coalition here. This is one way to get funding directly to Sudanese Emergency Response Rooms, which run soup kitchens among other aid programs. You can read about Emergency Response Rooms here and their work and funding needs here and here.
