I am starting this GoFundMe for my over-dedicated friend Claire. Claire goes above & beyond for animals, always has, always will. She does so at her own expense and often regardless of the circumstances. While evacuated from her home during the Palisades Fire, Claire started a chain with neighbors who had left their animals home for one reason or another. She single handedly managed to get officials to allow her to enter the canyon to feed and hydrate frightened animals. She did so numerous times while filling her car full of cat, dog and chicken food, along with water since they were not sure if the water was drinkable.

Once her immediate community of Mandeville was allowed to repopulate, she shifted focus to the animals of the Pacific Palisades. In this case, not only did she need food and water, but also traps, cameras and other items to help her rescue people's pets.

All told, Claire is responsible for the lives of countless four and two legged family members due to her years of dedication and rescue.
