On Sunday, October 26th, a sudden and devastating ground collapse occurred near the home of Jesse and Claire Ernst, leaving their property unsafe to occupy at this time. What began as a once-in-a-lifetime rain event quickly turned into every homeowner’s nightmare — the ground beneath their home gave way, causing severe structural damage and forcing them, along with their two year old, to evacuate for their safety.

At this time, insurance coverage remains uncertain, as this kind of event is rare and often falls into gray areas of policy language. While they wait for answers, Jesse and Claire face mounting costs to stabilize their home, begin essential repairs, and secure temporary housing for their family.

This fundraiser is being created to help relieve the immediate financial burden and allow them to focus on what matters most — restoring their home and rebuilding their sense of security, and welcoming their second daughter in the coming months.

All donations will go directly toward:
