Hello, for those who don't know, I'm Cindy's daughter, Holly. I'm trying to raise funds to help with medical expenses for all the procedures, doctor's office visits, and medications she has had over the past year.

My mom had a standard procedure to help with her GERD (Gastrointestinal Reflux Disease) back in November 2024 that led her to have an abscess in her stomach, chest, and esophagus. This then required three more surgeries to resolve the "first" surgery that took place in November. She has been on a feeding tube since December 2024, with multiple IV antibiotics and medications through her feeding tube and still having trouble eating solid foods. One of the long-term antibiotics caused her to become completely deaf, and it is irreversible, which resulted in another surgery to get cochlear implant hearing devices recently. She still has a long road to recovery and a totally new lifestyle to adapt to.

Since November 2024, my dad has never left her side through all of this, but he hasn't been able to return to work due to being her full-time caretaker. With this being said, the medical expenses just keep adding up and are taking a toll on not only her but my dad as well. If anyone is able to help my parents, it would be so appreciated! Anything helps! :)

For those that have not heard about our situation I am Jonathan Scott (Jon Scott) Local 728 teamsters and this is my wife Cindy. Cindy had a surgery that was supposed to be routine but turned into a horrible situation. I have been out of work the entire time from November to Current taking care of her basically around the clock with 3 different IV Meds, Tube Feedings and Tube Meds . Wound Care from the Very Invasive Thoracic Surgery. Her treatment is getting better and is scheduled as of now until the middle of January 2026 and that could change. The IV Meds have currently been replaced with pills. To all of those that have donated we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
